About me
My name is Michelle Fegeley and I am an art teacher and painter. I have experience teaching art to kindergarten through 8th grade art in the public school setting along with teaching art classes to students between first and twelfth grade. I received my BFA in Art Education with an emphasis in Painting and a Minor in Art History in 2019 from West Virginia University and completed my masters (MA) in Art Education and also received a certificate in Therapeutic Arts in 2023 from West Virginia University.
I found my love of art a few years ago. I started taking art lessons in seventh grade and I have continued pursuing art by taking drawing and painting classes at school. As my love for art has grown, I have blossomed into a new person. As I explore through different mediums and experiment in my work, I not only discover what mediums I like the best, but also I discover a little more of myself in each new drawing and painting. Art has become my escape and has helped shape me into the person I am today. I hope to continue to grow as a person and an artist as I continue to explore and experiment through art.
